U-Boat Darkmoon 40mm Black Curved PVD Watch

The Pure Stainless Steel Oil-Immersed Blueprint in a 40mm Profile Handcrafted in Lucca, Tuscany, the U-Boat Darkmoon 40mm SS (Ref. 9545) scales Italo Fontana’s iconic liquid-filled horological concept into a refined, highly wearable mid-sized case. The satin-brushed and electropolished AISI 316L stainless steel case houses a dial cavity completely submerged in a specialized, low-viscosity transparent oil bath. This liquid medium eliminates internal light reflection, producing a dramatic "glassless" visual effect that amplifies dial contrast, depth, and legibility from extreme angles. The deep black dial is complemented by luminescent beige Super-LumiNova numerals, indices, and hands, while a dynamic compensating air bubble moves freely across the dial to balance ambient temperature shifts.
